Non-Resident Fellow
A part-time, remote fellowship for researchers and practitioners who keep their current position. Fellows work on one question within our research areas and publish under their own name.
Perrin Undergraduate Policy Advisor, FY2027
A cohort of undergraduates from across the country who advise on our research and policy work for the 2027 fiscal year. The role is voluntary and carries no compensation.

Our hiring process

Your work
Send us an example of your work: a paper, a policy draft, a repository or a working system. A link is enough.
- 02
A conversation
A single, in-depth conversation with the people you would work with, about a problem you have worked on. We do not set unpaid case studies.
- 03
A decision
You will hear from us within two weeks of that conversation, with the reasons for our decision either way.
What we look for
- Experience in the area you want to work on, at any scale.
- Rigour: a habit of reasoning from evidence and first principles.
- Willingness to publish results that did not go as expected.
- The confidence to say when a proposal cannot work as written.

Perrin & Fidutam counted more than 1,600 members in its community over the years, and Perrin Institution inherits that record. Membership does not constitute employment. The organization has only ever employed a small staff, fewer than 25 people, and any other individual claiming to be on the team of, employed by, or otherwise representing the organization is making a false claim.
